Worcester Film Festival x Artists Clubhouse launch ‘Lights, Camera…Paint’ 2025,

a ‘Worcester Goes to the Movies’ themed art trail by local creatives!

Worcester Film Festival and Artists Clubhouse are excited to announce the return of their popular
film-inspired art trail, “Lights, Camera…Paint,” now in its fourth year. The trail will launch on
August bank holiday in Worcester city centre for people to enjoy throughout September in the run
up to the Worcester Film Festival 2025. Showcasing art created by local individuals, charities, and
organisations, the trail will celebrate the ever present connection between art and film.

Generously supported this year by community funding from Worcester City Council, City
Councillor Mel Allcott, and local business Bluebox Software; we are able to bring back our
popular movie themed activity sheet, as well as supporting the local charity involvement and
hosting some poster making workshops.

During the trail three participating artists will be selected by a panel of judges made up of the
funders and supporters to be this year’s winners, they will be looking for original use of the theme,
overall creativity, visual appeal and impact on audience. The chosen three will win passes to the
Worcester Film Festival, goodie bags from Artists Clubhouse & other prizes.

“We want to empower local people of all abilities to get involved with art. Creativity is such a
powerful tool to support wellbeing and can be harnessed in so many ways to increase confidence,
happiness and community.” Says Emily Johnson, founder of Artists Clubhouse and author of
online wellbeing course Creating Your Happy.

With their combined passion for opening up opportunities within the creative industries,
encouraging people to find joy through making/experiencing art for positive wellbeing, and
bringing people together, the two organisations continue to form a perfect partnership and really
look forward to seeing the creativity flow through the city once again.

The art trail will run from 23rd August until 28th September 2025 across Worcester City
centre with a map of the trail for locals and visitors to follow. For more information about
