Memory and intergenerational narratives provide a framework for an exploration of identity and inheritance.
Utilising the languages of both fine art and traditional hand-work, Fortier and Boorman consider non-linear approaches to time in relation to the materiality of heirlooms and the (re)construction of narratives.
Viewers are invited to join a conversation around the material culture of memory, and to create their own heirloom narratives.
