Details
A one-day workshop in two parts – in the morning you will learn about the lino block in it’s various forms and use lino carving tools to cut your own design. There will be a 30 minute lunch break. In the afternoon you will learn how to mix, roll out and apply ink to your block. You will then be able to make a number of single impression prints of your design using the hand burnishing method. Finally, there will also be instruction on and time for clean-up and a brief review of the day leaving you with the skills and confidence to go on to try more of your own printmaking at home.
On this introductory workshop we will be using soft cut lino, water-based inks and will be hand burnishing.
Tools and materials will be provided for your use during the day.
Price
