We have now gone out to tender to appoint a construction firm to refurbish five of Worcester’s Victorian railway arches between Foregate Street and The Hive.
The team has met with prospective contractors and the deadline for the submission of tenders is 8 June, with the work still scheduled to begin in the late summer.
In the meantime, a local stonemason has been appointed to clean the stonework of these five arches prior to construction. This work will begin in mid-May.
